I grew up in Fairhaven, Massachusetts - literally in the shadow (across the street!) of the Congregation’s U.S. headquarters, in a parish and school staffed by priests and sisters of the Congregation - St. Joseph’s. The priests were marvelous men, dedicated, strong, wonderful examples to us boys of devotion, dedication, faith, and at the same time, a kind of “gritty realism” found in missionaries. Great days, great memories.
