St. Gianna

I am thinking of taking a trip to the shrine of St. Gianna in Pennsylvania, I’ve read testimonies of the Lord’s graces through her intercession. The shrine has relics that are used when asking for her intercession, I am praying that she will intercede on behalf of my little Fatima Abigail, that she born completely healthy, if not, that I may have the strength to deal with whatever His will may be.

Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, testimonies, is this a good idea, bad idea? Thanks for your responses.

I don’t have any testimony or much knowledge about St. Gianna (except the bare facts) but I think this is a wonderful idea. I just want to thank you for posting it, because it is inspiring to see such faith.

I would definitely go. (All things being equal of course, i.e. your health, time, etc.)

I think that is a wonderful idea. It is very touching that St. Gianna would die rather than risk endangering her child’s life.

I live in eastern Pennsylvania and my school carried a banner with St. Gianna’s picture on it in the March for Life. We did this because the teacher/moderator of the Pro-Life Club has a special love for her. He even did work for her canonization. He was on EWTN and talked to Mother Angelica about St.Gianna.
