Hello all!

I dont really know that much about Saint medals, its something ive only recently started looking at more. Im currently discerning a vocation, and think its possible i may be being called to the Jesuits.

I was wondering if there are St Ignatius medals available, or if not there is a specific medal people would advise for vocations.

Also do you need to get them blessed? I have one but i am not sure if it is blessed or not.

Thanks very much!

Catholic Shopper has St. Ignatius medals:

St.Alphonsus Ligouri is the patron saint for vocations and St. Charles Borromeo is the patron saint of seminarians.

As for a blessing, just ask a priest to bless your medal (or any other sacramental such as a rosary). There is no special formula needed (except for a few items such as Brown Scapulars) and a simple blessing is fine. (In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit).

Prayers for your discernment,
