I was wondering what are the requirements for someone invested in the St Joseph Scapular. i know, for example, that folks invested in the Scapular of the Sacred Heart are meant to go to Eucharistic adoration on a regular basis and have other “obligations” (I hate that word, but I hope you get what I’m trying to say). What duties does a person have who’s invested in the SJS? St Joseph is my patron saint and as a dad and a husband he’s my ultimate example of fatherhood and a devoted husband, but before I just go and buy a scapular and invest myself in something, I want to know what’ll be expected of me so I hold up my end of the bargain, so to say.

Also, online I’ve seen SJS’s that are purple and others that are brown. Which one is proper?
