St Paul to the Galatians

I thought this would be interesting bible passage.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema."

Galatians Chapter 1 verse 8.

So, my point is that Jesus taught the apostles, and here is St Paul telling the Galatians not to be seduced by some false teachers.

Can we not apply this to the problems of today?

"Then if any man shall say to you : Lo here is Christ, or there; do not believe him. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.
