I was blessed to visit New Camaldoli Hermitage in beautiful Big Sur, California some years ago.
The monks are having a difficult time there now! A bridge collapse and a massive landslide from our record rainfall earlier this year has left them isolated and unable to provide retreats (a main source of revenue) until repairs are made.
