Hi! This may sound scrupulous, but I’m not sure. I’m a new Catholic and love wearing Saints medals on a necklace. I have been wearing the Miraculous Medal, but I would like to add a couple Saints onto my necklace. Would it be disrespectful to stack the medals on my necklace, or should I wear them one at a time?🤷

I don’t see why not. I have two medals on my necklace, Miraculous and St. Thomas Aquinas Angelic Warfare. It’s a good way not to get tangled!

I wear multiple blessed medals simultaneously and have never been told it’s disrespectful or otherwise undesirable. :ehh:

I wear a Crucifix, Miraculous Medal & my Franciscan Scapular Medal all on one chain.

I used to know an older lady who wore maybe 10-15 medals on one chain. They weren’t all clumped together, but held in place with jump rings.

She liked them all, so she wore them all! 😃

HA! That sounds like my mama.
She had so many, she finally sewed them into a little cotton pouch, which she pinned to her bra. Jingled ALOT. I finally told her “mama, it looks like you have 3 boobs!”
I miss mama…🙂

I wear a crucifix and a St. Michael’s medal, on separate rings (so they can slide independently of each other) on one chain.

I cut a piece of Scotch Tape to fit on the back of the medal so the crucifix’s corpus doesn’t wear the back of the medal too much. It lasts 8 or 9 months before I replace it.

(It’s a 24" continuous chain, so I’m not overly tempted to take it off. I cant remember the last time I took it off.)

Two medals is about my limit.
