I am diabetic, but my blood sugar AND my blood pressure have been under control for some time; in fact, both my diabetic meds AND my blood pressure medicines have been reduced.
However, I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease. I have only 35% or so kidney function. While I’m doing all I can do with diet (in fact, I’ve been eating very little since so many things are loaded with sodium!), the name of the game presently is to postpone diallysis as long as possible.
The prospect scares me–most of all, the fear of the unknown.
Please pray for me.
