Can the Stations of the Cross be said from the home? Or is it required that you follow the stations in a churchl, etc.?
 
They can be said anywhere. That’s one of the many beauties of this devotion.

Stations of the Cross is a prayer. It can be said in the home or church.
 
I read that for a proper Stations of the Cross devotion, you should move from one station to the next unless you have a large group of people which makes moving from one station to the next difficult. (Or unless you are incapable of moving about)

In this case, someone is designated to move from one station to the next.

At our Friday evening devotions, we have teens holding a cross and some with candles moving from station to station as we pray.
