How does the station of the cross go? What do you say at each station? Thanks and God bless.
 
Here is a one of a few online Stations of the Cross This website should give you an idea of how to pray this special prayer.
It is one of my favorite prayers…I am actually in the market to buy plaques depicting the Stations of the Cross . I’d like to make an outdoor Way of the Cross. Unfortunately I’m finding most plaques are bronze/cast and cost an arm and a leg…$1,000 - $20,000. So now I’m considering using my own artistic license to create my own.

Does anyone know where I can find affordable outdoor Stations?

There are all sorts of different sets of prayers you can use - one of the most popular are these prayers written by St Alphonus Liguori, but there are plenty of others out there as well.

Or you can simply say an Our Father, Hail Mary and/or Glory Be at each station while meditating on that station.

Or you can do them without any formal prayers at all - simply look at the picture/image of the station and meditate on the event which is taking place.

I wish I could help - have you thought of just buying what’s called a ‘Stations’ Cross? - it’s just the one cross which has all the stations depicted on it. You could buy them at almost any pious goods shop or online.

yeah I thought about that but I’m hoping to make a path in a garden for the Stations. Today I purchased stone tiles from India and outdoor artists paints…I hope and pray I can make my own Stations of the Cross :gopray: I will pray hard and long before I get started.
 
The most common Stations I have been to are those with the Liguori meditations and the Stabat Mater sung between stations

I have one and I love it. I always feel so clean afterwards.
