Does anyone know what the old statue/Crucifix scene under (domed) glass is called? My brother says they have a name. My mom never heard of it.

Anima Christi, as far as I know, is a prayer often recited after receiving Communion.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from the side of Christ, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O Good Jesus hear me
Within your wounds, hide me
Separated from You let me never be
At the hour of my death call me
And close to You, bid me
That with your saints I may be praising you forever and ever. Amen

But here is a photo of the crucifixion scene under domed glass. And I guess it is possible that it may be used for meditation of the Anima Christi prayer:

I googled Arma Christi to see what that was. Wow! I have never seen those before, but I am fascinated by them!

My Dad got one as a gift '59 or '60. I inherited it (as soon as my brother finds it).

Well, remind him because you have people waiting! 😛
Besides, it’s not being honored and enjoyed in storage…
