Hi everyone! Does anybody know of a website that has a list of saint names or some really good Cathilic names? We are still having difficulty coming up with something. Thanks for your help and God bless!

Just type Catholic Saints into your search engine. There are tons of sites full of saint names and explanations of why they’re saints.

www.catholic.org has a Saints Index - it is fairly exhaustive - you should be able to find a beautiful name there!

Go to your local library and look through the index of “Butler’s Lives of the Saints” That is what I did to name my son, David. Yes, there was a saint David! There were many common names that I didn’t know were saints too!

On one occasion when I was expecting we were also struggling with names, so I looked up the saint whose feast day was on my due date. It happenend to be the feast of St. Mary Magdalen. I read up on her and found myself intrigued by her faith and role in the early Church. When my daughter was born (though not actually on the feast day) I had no hesitation in naming her Madeleine (the French version of Magdalen).
