Hello, I am asking for prayers and words of encouragement for my wife. On Friday at her first ultrasound at 21 weeks pregnant we found out that our son had died. All was fine at every checkup until this one. Sunday night she was induced and Monday we held our little George Herman’s body.

I would appreciate anyone who has been through a similar circumstance offering any thoughts or words for my wife that can help her through this difficult time. I would like to present this thread to her as a sign of support from the Body of Christ throughout the world and to let her know that she is not alone in her sorrow. Thank you and God Bless!

I will be keeping you in my daily prayers. My baby was also stillborn at 21 weeks, and I know that there are really no words that help. Over time, I have received comfort in knowing that my baby is with God- and that God’s comforting presence was with me in my time of grief.

Oh my heart is broken for you both, God bless you with strength and courage in the days to come. May the thought of God’s new little angel comfort you. Please count on me to pray for you both daily as often as I can.
 
I am so very sorry for your loss. Rest assured you & your wife now have your very own special Angel watching over you. Praying for you, your & baby. God bless.
 
God always has our best interests at heart-your precious son is so loved by Him that He desires to have George Herman with Him now, thus preserving him from all pain, sickness and sin.
Rejoice that the Lord loves George Herman this much and know that He, in his love and mercy, will console you in this time of loss.

Offer up this pain and grief in union with the Blessed Virgin’s pain at the foot of the cross.

I am so very sorry for your loss. May God wrap His arms around you all and give you comfort at this sad time.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Dan_86 and his wife in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Dan_86 and his wife, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
