**Storm of the Media’s Culture
**
Our minds and hearts are under assault by the storm of culture,
Telling and showing us that wrong is right and God is not there,
Deliberately misleading our senses and muddling our thinking,
Resulting in reasoning and actions that are very morally lacking.
The major media defines the culture and advocates evil as normal,
Supporting casual sex and many harmful resultant actions as well,
Mocking courtesy, discipline, and obedience in families and society,
And distorting truth while insulting God and those that favor morality.
Supporting casual sex with no responsibility brings harm to the many,
Lack of commitment, physical abuse, contraception, resultant sterility,
Abortion, the killing of babies in the womb, marriages quickly unbound,
People being used, and human rights being denied – all of these abound.
The major media commonly displays as acceptable horrible behaviors,
Rudeness, violence, disobedience, cussing, cursing, and bad manners.
It also shows irresponsible parenting, irreverence towards God and religion,
Law breaking is encouraged if not caught, and truth is a matter of opinion.
And if anyone stands up against this tremendous assault on our morality,
The major media distorts their message and mocks any part of that entity,
Belittling their message and their messengers, confusing their audience,
Denying or twisting the truth, and hiding major oppositions to their stance.
But there is a light in this storm, visible to those who seek the truth faithfully,
God’s truth stands strong and He has many good allies speaking out honestly,
Bringing forth facts obscured by the media, causes and their effects explored,
Providing good moral leadership, and defending those who voices are ignored.
Be careful! Some of the allies, including some pastors and churches, have caved
To the tremendous pressures of this media storm on some issues morally depraved,
Unwilling to stand up strongly against the horrible opposition they would face.
Pray for their conversion back to the whole truth and fortitude would surface.
Pray for all peoples that they may be led back to the truth of God’s morality.
Pray for those who stand up for the truth and their listeners a lack of hostility.
Pray for openness to God’s way that all peoples may come to it soon one day.
Pray that God transform the major media from deceit and immorality to His Way.
