So glad he was able to “turn a corner” and start fresh. In heaven they rejoice more over one sinner returned to the fold than 99 who have no need of repentence. Indeed, he is also becoming an example to other so that they will not make the same mistake.
Lucky he had that dream. It seemed to be a key turning point.
I once had a dream like that where I was walking down a hall. Underneath the floor was a demon who was trying to get me. I started praying, “Hail Mary!” Then, I heard it screaming. Then, I said, “Our Father”! Again, I heard it scream. Then, I woke up. I had already planned to go back to church, and it happened to be an ordination mass where 4 priests were ordained.
I have come and gone from the church, since, but now I want to stay. I seem to be the kind of person that NEEDS daily mass. I’ve noticed if I don’t go every day, I begin to fall much more into sin.
Anyway, I can relate to this story. Evil is very real, and we need to do everything we can to avoid it, to live a life worthy of Christ.
