She played St. Faustina Kowalska in the new movie “Love and Mercy: Faustina.”

“It was an amazing experience” … “I had a lot of spiritual experiences. Sometimes I was crying, sometimes I think that my life had to change, for example.”

Saint Faustina was the then completely unknown Polish nun who began the great world-wide devotion to the divine mercy among Catholic, after Jesus appeared to her telling her to begin it. Saint Faustina died in 1938. Her experiences are completely accepted by the Catholic Church.

I saw the movie last week.
It is worthwhile although not a super captivating presentation.
But I will go to see anything counter-culturally Cactholic, and this movie is worth seeing.
