In the video you see the man approach the door of the store, take off his hat, and make of the Sign of the Cross twice, then rob the store.

This is being posted partly to see what people make of this.

Someone, at Christmas time, stole the baby Jesus statue -
It was a manger scene - in front of the rectory -
And he left a note -
Something about leave a case of beer, cigarettes etc.
They found the statue a few days later -

I’ve heard stolen items from houses, left in front of a church - and a note of repentance.

Violent crimes - are another story - that’s devil driven.

I’m not convinced that’s the same guy crossing himself and then robbing. Not only are the clothing colors extremely different, but there is a logo on the left breast of the jacket of the guy throwing the brick that does not appear in the video of the guy crossing himself.

If this is the same man, then I suspect either addiction or mental illness in this case.

It is not the same person making the sign of the cross, and the person doing the robbery.

Impressive how easy it is to smash through a store window like that. I wonder how long he spent thinking about this robbery before actually doing it. Of course, I would make the sign of the cross myself if I had to commit such an act.
