I wonder how he knew his vision was of St. Bernadette? As a Lutheran minister he probably never heard of her. He doesn’t tell that part of the story.

I wonder if he just knew, all part of his conversion. If not I bet he looked her up really quick.

Saint Bernadette, who saw the Virgin Mary in Lourdes, France, died in 1879. But her body has never corrupted–you can go and see her body in France, looking just like a living person.
Well, just like a fully-clothed living person wearing a wax mask and gloves.

You should go see her then. There are miracles. God leaves them for us to see the proof of his existence.

Amazing story. I do wish he mentioned how he came across St Bernadette. Thank you for posting this.

You can’t see her. No part of her body is uncovered. Natural mummification is a natural phenomena. If God wanted to provide proof of his existence he would miraculously preserve bodies left in circumstances in which mummification does not occur. Like in wet alkaline clay; or in cremation. That would be impressive. And the preserved bodies would not look just recognisable, like a mummy; they would actually look alive.

Lord, Make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred. let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope

You are mistaken on this. You might want to go to the link below where it explains the difference between accidentally, intentionally and incorrupt bodies. There is also a link there to the body examination testimony of St. Bernadette. Truly amazing! This miraculous phenomena alone confirms the Catholic Church is the one true Church.

Unfortunately, your source of information is wrong. I saw her body myself in France two years age, and her body looks just like a living person. For a photo of her body see:
You see a wax mask and wax gloves. Google it.

My mother was Baptist but knew St. Bernadette well before she met my Catholic father because she’d seen the movie Song of Bernadette as a child. The movie came out in 1943 but she didn’t meet my dad for ten more years. So it’s totally possible.

I was in Guam a week or so ago and unfortunately saw the body of a large dog on the side of the road who had obviously been hit by a car.

It was still there 2 days later but its size had shrunk to half the size. I assume what was happening was the parasites of the body were no longer being ‘combatted’ by the body’s immune system and the dog was being eaten from the inside.

It is certainly a wonder why there is anything left at all of a body that died centuries ago.

Perhaps goodness has its own power that physically manifests itself in the body rather than God ‘wanting’ to create a miracle for people to believe?

There are longer interviews with Noah Letts where he explains that he had been in seminaries for a long time and had read a lot of stuff which kept pointing him towards the Catholic Church, and that when he saw the vision he realized the person was a nun and a Roman Catholic and he had a vague idea of who it might be, but he didn’t know for sure or know much about her. While looking at her body he says he had a vision of her life and of her receiving Communion. He also says that she continued to take an active role in his life since the vision.

It is very common. The oldest naturally preserved bodies are thousands of years old. Google it.

I have. It is not common but where it has happened it is usually due to severe cold or chemical preservatives. For other cases it is both very rare and a wonder.

What’s most amazing of all is that any time an incorrupt body is found, when they research who the person was, it is always found that they were a devout Catholic. The phenomenon is not seen in any other religion.

Burials in dry chambers in dry Churches have the same effect.
