Struggles as a teacher

I am at the end of the school year and the stress is mounting with behavior problems -so many students that have little support from home as homes and families are struggling… Kids are NOT being given guidance as to how to handle their struggles because so many parents are in such need themselves… Lord have mercy. I need some prayer support to the end of the year- it’s a battle!!!

Teaching is a** VERY** hard profession. In modern times, respect is often lacking.

Well, it used to be morality was taught in school. In most cases, it’s not any more.

I just read that St. Catherine is the patron saint of teachers.

As a former teacher myself, I can say that I know how tough end of the year stress can be. My prayers go out to you and your students. Ask God to help you through this time of year and pray that your students make it through the summer, safely.

Summer “vacation” is a fallacy for teachers, but I hope you will take a little time to de-stress and regroup while the children enjoy their break.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
