This is a scenario which was common in wars of this century and i’d like to know the best of the bad options we can take, so it goes as follows: “in a war case scenario, where you’re surrounded by your enemies that will harm your family, is it wrong to kill your family to spare them from suffering?”.

We do not do evil so that good may come, full stop

This question makes no sense, and assumes pleasure/not suffering is something we are going for

also, because harm/death will come to them, instead it is somehow better for you to murder them ???

Yes it is wrong to kill our family in that situation. No matter what. God can do what He wants in the situation, it’s not our place to kill.

This is completely wrong.
The worst scenario isn’t if enemy kills them, it is if you would kill them. It is disordered thinking.

Suffering isn’t in vain if united with Christ, so the best option would be contrition for sins and trust in God’s Mercy.
That act you cite would be against love, hope and mercy. Death is not end, death is beginning of Eternal life.

If you are with your family surrounded by the enemy, pray. Call on St Michael the archangel, call on the Blessed Mother. Call on Christ the Redeemer of the world. Pray for your enemies. Should you die in the next moments, this is how you enter into eternal life.

Our culture has this idea that murder is merciful. Challenge that thinking.

Killing is wrong, but we are not, and God will never will be in that situation. There is no black or white answer to this type of question, so it can’t be answered unless you are in that specific scenario.

Keep in mind we might never have learned about the story of Anne Frank if her father wanted to spare her from the pain of what Hitler was doing. He might have killed her before they went into hiding.
