The Priestly Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) is a society of priests that believe in tradition and is hesitant to commit to the new order of the mass (in native languages, priest facing people), and modernist ways because of Vatican II, that many priests have taken to They feel that much liturgy has been compromised and that this is not appropriate, nor is it appropriate that the traditions of 2000 years be dismissed (Latin Mass, etc.) without regard to the needs of the pious members of the church who prefer it. The society was begun by Bishop Lefavre, who was excommunicated the Pope John Paul II, for ordaining 4 bishops without his permission, to ordain priests in the society (who say Tridentine Masses-currently, Latin rite priests often are not taught the Latin Mass anymore) and to do Confirmations of followers in their parishes. ;Bishop Lefavre’s excommunicated status was reversed by Pope Benedict in January of this year. They are currently working to resolve problems and come back fully into communion with the Pope. They are found world-wide, in Americas, Europe, etc… Besides the website mentioned above, the present head of the society, the current head of the society has a facebook page. His name is Bishop Fellay. Google him for more information. They are a prayerful group, sincerely interested in doing the will of God. Hope this helps.
