The question also is - Which calendar will the new Autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church adopt? Most “Slavic” Churches keep to the Old Calendar, whereas the EP customarily recommends the New. The Ukrainian churches are conservative , so the calendar will be probably old one.

Thanks for posting the article. I hear suicides have significantly lowered the life expectancy of Americans.
 
I think it’s hard to tie this to the abortion itself.

The abortion choice may be a seperator. Many of the people having a child were planning to start their family and have that to look forward to, they have a vision for the future.

A number of people choosing an abortion may may have other serious issues that are the cause of increased suicide rates. They may be depressed or dealing with addiction.
