Studying on Sunday?

Yes, if you don’t have a choice. If your professors are anything like mine were, you won’t have a choice unless you don’t mind taking the class over. 😛

However, studying isn’t an excuse to miss Mass.

Let me expand on this a little bit. How about studying today (Good Friday), Holy Saturday, and maybe on Easter Sunday?

I never studied on a Sunday in dental school, even if a final was on Monday. People thought I was crazy. I graduated Magna Cum Laude. What it forced me to do was to study on Saturday.

God blesses those who seek to make Sunday a day of rest. You cannot outgive God. That doesn’t mean that you will get straight A’s, but your character will be forged in a saintly way, and that will be what you are judged on in the end - not your GPA.

As far as Good Friday and Holy Saturday, I don’t see how those would apply.

P.S. In dental school you are taking the equivalent of 35 hours.
