Suffering and restlessness

I have a chronic illness that has been causing pain and restlessness. I feel like I need to be doing something but I don’t know what, and I want to offer up my sufferings but I don’t know how. Please pray for me that I would learn what I should do in this state and that I would be able to offer up my sufferings. Thank you.
 
I know how you feel.

Say at the beggining of every day:
Jesus I unite my suffering and pain with Your holy suffering, crucifixion and death on cross and I am offering it through hands of Blessed Virgin Mary for: my conversion/strenght/patience/as reparation for my sinns, my ungratefulness/souls in Purgatory/conversion of sinners/as reparation for sinns of the whole world. Or on any other intentions.

I will pray for you!

You’re not alone.

I’ve been suffering from various ailments (that prevents me from living the life I’d have loved to) for such a long time that sometimes, I think my departure from this world is imminent, and that it , indeed, would be great if I could make an exit because I’d not have to be a burden to my people anymore.

And then, I found Jesus. I found this vast treasure of prayers. And although I’m far from being healed, my emotional and spiritual well being has fared better – far better than I dare to imagine. I am at ease with my suffering. Well, I do tend to fall into depression occasionally, but God has given me Hope. When I pray to Him, I feel such a “reassurance” coming from Him that by the end of the prayer, my heart feels soothed , consoled and protected.

I’m sorry, I think I’ve strayed away from the topic but I just wanted to share my plight and lessen your burden. Please be constant on prayers - perhaps the Rosary ? Or the Chaplet of Divine Mercy? Or any other prayers. I used to be restless too, but I made it compulsory to never miss a prayer – proper training of my mind to be disciplined. If you’ve spare time, you could pray morning, afternoon and night. Pray, pray and pray!!! Ask the Lord for guidance. Talk to Him with an open heart ( I do it all the time).

Have faith. Trust in the Lord without a second thought.

I will pray for you.

Lord Jesus, Your healing extends to the depths
of our mysterious being. Remember the suffering
of those afflicted with chronic illnesses. Help them
sanctify the pain by offering it to You. Amen.

May the Holy Spirit guide you, may the Lord grant you the grace to hear and answer his Will, and grant you the wisdom and strength to hear, understand and accept His Will. Amen. May God grant you healing and a return to good health, so you may offer your thanksgiving to Him. Amen.

O Mother of Perpectual Help, grant that I may ever invoke Thy most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying. O purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary, let thy name henceforth be ever on my lips.
