Dear Friends,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good book on suffering, one that explains why we suffer, and the good that comes from suffering and the redemptive value of suffering, something that isn’t too long, I would like to get it for a lady I work with, she is not real open to reading anything religious at all, but if its small she may just look at it even if its out of curiosity, she is a fallen away catholic, believes in reincarnation, etc and she also lost her granddaughter, at the age of 3, she drowned if the bath tub, she is not open to God at all, so was just wondering a way I could share Him with her, she takes everything as being preaced to, but she really needs to be shown who God is, that He is full of love and that one’s sufferings do not go in vain and there are reasons for it.
Thank You All,
May God Bless You!
