I just received the following message in a forwarded e-mail:
Dear Friends,
Just a quick note to tell alert you to two things and ask you for a small favor.
First, if you’re able, please tune in TONIGHT to the Rita Cosby television show on the FOX News Channel at midnight Eastern Time (9:00 p.m. Pacific). I’ll be one of several guests in studio discussing the life and legacy of our beloved Pope John Paul II.
Second, please tune in to the EWTN live show “The Journey Home” TOMORROW evening (Monday, April 4) at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (5:00 p.m. Pacific). I’ll join my friend Marcus Grodi to discuss the tumultuous and deeply emotional events of the past few days, as well as what we can expect to see in the coming weeks with the election of the new pope. (Yes, we will be taking viewer phone calls and e-mails.)
And third, here’s the favor I’d like to ask you: Please pray for me that during these shows I’ll be able to clearly and effectively share my thoughts in a way that will honor Christ and the Church and, of course, the memory of the Holy Father.
Happy Feast of Divine Mercy! May the Lord bless you all.
Your friend in Christ,
Patrick Madrid

P.S. Feel free to let your friends know about these shows, too. I think they’ll both be lively, interesting, and informative.
