Susan B Komen and Planned Parenthood

A couple years (I think) ago, I saw a thread here about the connection between Susan B Komen and Planned Parenthood. There were three website links that showed the evidence that Susan B Koman was (is??) giving grants to Planned Parenthood and had also names of other breast cancer research facilities to support instead.

Does anyone remember those websites as well as the names of the other research facilities? I have friends at work who support Komen because there’s no other research facility to support and one of them doubts the ‘link’ between Komen and PP, so I’d appreciate any help!

Do a Google search - you will find them. Search for: Planned Parenthood Komen.

You could send charitable contributions for cancer research to the American Cancer Society, or any of the comprehensive cancer centers (places like MD Anderson, Sloan Kettering, Roswell Park, etc) that do research as well as cancer care and medical education. Just make sure you earmark it for breast cancer research if that’s the cause you wish to support.
