Switching rites

Here’s another interesting question (lol the questions keep comming): Do protestant converts have to be initiated into the Latin Rite first? (Since, their movement broke off the Roman Church.) What about an Orthodox convert?

Protestant converts can take their pick, as example above the easten spirituality may be the draw.

Orthodox would be expected to be recieved into an Eastern rite but could choose the Latin rite (e.g nearest eastern rite parish 500 miles away, latin 10 miles - practical reasons!) - though as above they could be eastern rite but practice Latin:whacky:
