I was wondering, Is there any special distinction in western or eastern syriac spirituality that distinguishes itself from both, say the coptic and byzantine traditions? I know the Iconography of Syria is a bit different…Somewhat between Byzantine and Coptic.

Oh, and Can oriental Catholics Venerate people Like Dioscorus and Severus of Antioch and Philoxenus .

And can Chaldeans Venerate Nestorius and Theodore of Mopsuestia?

Certainly the liturgy is different.

Antiochene (Syriac, Maronite, Syro-Malankara) use the Liturgy of Saint James.
Chaldean (Chaldean and Syro-Malabar) use the Liturgy of Mar Addai & Mar Mari, etc.
