Thanks. I’ve heard of some of those, but not all. I’ll look into them.

Co-op games are good to play with the wife and daughter. We’ve got Castle Panic, Forbidden Island/Desert, and Pandemic.
 
  1. If you want to introduce someone to tabletop gaming who may be scared off by intricate rules, I strongly recommend Carcassonne. It’s light. It’s easy. Games last about 20 minutes. Yet despite all that there is enough strategy that it doesn’t get boring.
  2. Anyone who wants to play tabletop games online must go to yucata.de. It’s a free site (that accepts donations) where you can play 100 different turn based games with people from all over the world. I love it.
