Talked to a minor from this forum

I am astounded by the whole discussion, the fact that people would reveal identifying info about themselves on a public internet forum, and even publish their email and cellphone numbers, sounds insane, but I guess that is because we have a web-based family business and security is a top concern for us. we also raised teens and have teen grandchildren who have very strict rules about what they can post, and whose computer use is strictly monitored.

I have only posted my social email address, not my business one, my school one or the email address I make online purchases with. Am I at any great risk?
 
I’m not sure I get all the angst - just block the address, forget about it, and move on! It’s not like you were hoping to have a relationship with her or something. :rolleyes:

anyone who as any of your email addresses now has access to your computer, do you really want that? you must have scads of time to wade through all that spam

What spam? I don’t get any junk email, or internet pop ups or anything like that. And at last check my computer is spyware free, but thanks for the warning 🙂

On another note lizaanne is right, if you aren’t in contact with him/her and haven’t said anything that could be misconstrued then you have nothing to worry about
 
Spam and spirituality…excellent combo.
So…should I weigh in with my opinion?..no, i think not.
 
Yeah I’ve just realised where this thread is. Bit of an odd location…
