I’m not sure how to talk to my priest about some things. I’ve told him depressed and he told me I was going to be alright and said that he is available most days to talk. That was months ago and I don’t know how to take the second step now. He goes to school and has other things to do and I don’t want to bother him. I’m 22 and there’s not anyone else my age in my church they’re either older people or high school and under. Not really anyone in their twenties. My priest is in his 30s and he’s really into helping with CCD and Student masses and stuff but thats not my age group. Lol. I don’t know where to go from here. Could he still want to talk to me. Or should I just drop it. I don’t know. I want to be involved in my parish and do things but I don’t feel like I’m good enough. I really don’t know.

Call the parish office and make an appointment to see him about a personal matter.

I doubt you’ll be bothering your priest. This is part of his calling - to support parishioners.

Of course, if you are feeling depressed, depending on the severity, you might want to seek professional counseling of some form.

You can make an appointment with your priest, but if you are suffering from ongoing depression, you really need to reach out to a mental health professional.

Most Priests I know of will gladly take time to speak with you. According to how busy they are dictates how quickly they may be able to speak with you however. The times I’ve needed to speak with my Priest sometimes he would speak with me after Mass and sometimes I’ve had to make an appointment.
