What living bishop, priest, brother, sister, nun, monk, deacon… do you recognize as holy, with talks recorded and available on the internet?

May EWTN’s +Mother Angelica+ rest in Peace. May the Perpetual Light shine upon her, her family, friends, loved ones & all those very many whose lives she did, does & will forever touch, Amen.

Tapes of her work includes leading of the Holy Rosary & other wonderful devotions free online streaming live or on tape. Especially fine are the “Mother Angelica’s Classics” where she answers questions from a studio audience & from callers. Enjoy!

I hesitate to call living people holy, because I’ve seen very good preachers fall from grace and leave the Church , leaving heartbreak and scandal behind.

But I do enjoy Fr Mike Schmidt talks on you tube.

Whether he’s holy, I’ll leave to God.

I have some concern about this too. However, if a person’s preaching is in line with Church teaching and is bringing people closer to God, I can accept that in that capacity and in that moment, they have some measure of holiness.

One could look back on preachers who have fallen from grace such as Cardinal Spellman, Cardinal McCarrick, Fr. Corapi, and Fr. Coughlin and say, “Well, clearly that guy wasn’t very holy at all.” But that doesn’t mean that they weren’t capable of having some very holy moments when they were at their best preaching and leading people closer to God.

I hesitate to classify him as holy for the reasons mentioned above, but I really like Fr. John Riccardo out of Detroit. He has a LOT of podcasts available.
