“Hummmm” not all primitive paleolithic tribal gatherers and hunters had tattoosTatoos and kinky body piercings are a sign on the times. Think: “…As in the time of Noah…”, that’s Biblical and it means… before civilization.
Consider:
What do all primitave paliolythic tribal gatherers and hunters in the anthropology text book have in common…???
Tatoos and kinky body piercings.
“Aborigines” ( i think that’s what they like to be called instead of savages) in Australia did not have Tattoos. In some tribes there is ritual scaring. I know a few who have these. Really next time you you feel like going off on a racist rant. do a little research (using modern text books… they might even tell you the proper names of races) That way you wont look like such a backward uneducated moron whose sole education doesn’t rely on 1930’s movies and ignorance.'Nuther words… the savages in Austrailia had no contact with the savages in South America or in Africa… yet all those savages had certain things in common…
Get it???
Now on to the other rational educated posters on this thread.
Some posters have said that you shouldn’t get tattoos. Because it might imply that we are unhappy with what God gave us. if this is the case. Then technically we shouldn’t cut/dye our hair. people should not get ear rings etc. Of course this is a silly argument but still:shrug: . I got one small tattoo as a young adult before i read in the bible how God said we shouldn’t get tattoos. I know as a christian i should live by the new laws Christ brought forth. but still…I don’t look at anyone who has a religious tattoo as doing anything bad or sinful. as i have seen some really nice (amusingly) meaningful religious tattoos. i think its a personal thing. if you are doing it for the right meaning, then who am i to judge?
