Taylor Marshall and the Gordon bros

So, I’ve stopped following Taylor Marshall recently since his strange fall out with Tim Gordon displayed on Twitter.

Does anyone know the update, are Taylor and Tim back in good terms? . . .

Does anyone know the update, are Taylor and Tim back in good terms? Or is Taylor’s ego still driving him to bash the Gordon brothers?

I don’t recall him bashing the Gordon brothers at all. If anything it was the Gordon’s who took to Twitter and began criticizing Dr. Marshall because he attended an SSPX chapel.

DTM and the Gordon’s have a huge responsibility as influencers to a large and impressionable audience… And of late, they have been lacking imo.

I know some of you will knock me for this but this is why I big up Tim Staples so much. Delivering Truth can be done tactfully and with Charity, as Tim shows. Ah the days of the old school CA gang…!

I have to be honest… Between the Gordons and Dr. Marshall; I will bet that Dr. Marshall is most likely in his rights to do whatever he did.

Based on comments that I have read from both of them, there is apparently something else going on, behind the scenes that we don’t know about (which started BEFORE the Easter Mass).

While I think Tim Gordon often has interesting things to say, he’s pretty rough around the edges & can be obnoxious. I always felt that Tim Gordon brought out the worst in Taylor Marshall.

However, Dr. Marshall is pretty blunt (which I don’t mind because I’m blunt too). But his SPOKEN comments are usually (from my point of view) very thought-out. Where Taylor gets himself into trouble is with Twitter. You can’t hear voice inflection on Twitter, so his straight forwardness comes of snarky on Twitter.

While Gordon, on the other hand, always sounds snarky.

Until the TNT shows, Taylor’s videos were usually far more educational. It has always seemed to me like Gordon pushed Marshall into the culture war videos (even if Marshall was totally willing to go there himself).

I haven’t heard anything as far as whether or not they are back on speaking terms but I haven’t seen either of them taking shots at each other as far as I’ve seen. With the civil unrest that has taken place in the past few weeks and Gordon getting fired, one would think they both have bigger things to worry about.

Don’t know about Taylor Marshall, but the Gordon brothers strike me as the Bill and Ted of right wing “Catholic” commentators.

This made me laugh. I think it’s accurate.

I think both have interesting views at times & I listen to both at times. I don’t agree with everything they say.

Thanks for the bashing, you can take your own advice and not follow or click the topic. your beloved Marshall called the Gordon brothers “norvus ordo bros” in his tweets and some other unpleasant things.

He did. In his tweets was “Norvus Ordo Bros” and something about their “retrograde” phrase. I read the Gordon’s and they brought up typical SSPX objections but not direct slander to Marshall or his family.

Because there is a significant portion of Catholics that follow these types of right wing personalities and this is having an unfortunate influence on American Catholicism.

You seem to be confusing the religion and politics too; using “right wing personalities”. I could agree their ideas are at times (and more frequently) in the realm of conspiracy theories but I wouldn’t lump it with the “right wing” pseudonym for American conservatives.

I watch him now and again, it used to be everyday, I think the hardest part is hearing the “this is whats wrong with the church/ these Catholics are doing it wrong” that is hard to swallow after a while. To me we are going through hard times and it seems like the show went from intellectual speculation to feeding on the infighting within the Catholic Church. So much so in fact that unfortunately it divided them. Wish they could go back to the old days.

I wouldn’t debate about the SSPX from my question. But on SSPX i know they acknowledge the Pope (yes Pope Francis) but somethings I am not sure of - like the rejection of the Luminous mysteries and the Divine Mercy chaplet… thats strange to me.

Depends on what kind of right wing you are, doesn’t it? I remember seeing Nick Fuentes on his followed list on Twitter, and I figured he isn’t the type of Catholic Conservative I trust.
