I am a high-school aged teenager, and I really wish I could explain my faith to my friends. The problem is, rarely do they ever ask questions. How can I, without seeming to force it upon them, make them ask me and get more interested about the Catholic Faith?

Thank you all,
Timothy Garber

The chances are they are so wrapped up in the secularised filth of the world, they care little for Religion let alone the Catholicism.

Through prayer and the Grace of God only can they then be saved.

So what should I do? Can I have some guidelines as to how to pray for them?

Yes you can offer up rosaries for their conversions, and also prayers such as the divine chaplet, which I think is especially aimed at converting the sinner.

You could simply tell them about your experience. For example, say you went to Mass on Sunday.

If they are interested they might start to ask more!

God’s peace. Catholic Answers (this forum!) has a great little tract or pamphlet that explains the Catholic faith that you might want to buy to give to really interested persons. It’s called Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth. Find it here

I always try to have a few handy. Blessings, ~Br Carlo~

Ooh, I like this one. It’s cheap too. Thank you for the recommendation!

As a missionary, what works best for me is to just mention God in every day conversation. “You passed the test? Praise God!” Always giving glory to God sparks questions. If they are having a bad day offer to pray for them. Even if they don’t ask about your faith, there are always ways to bring Him into the conversation.
Some people are attracted to the Church by our dogmas and beliefs, but more often than not I find that people are attracted by personal testimonies.
“You know there was a time when I was really depressed as well but…” And you go from there.
