Television ads abuse victims

Local television advertising lawyers soliciting priest sex abuse victims.

I was up in Pennsylvania some months ago, and I would type into Google Catholic churches near me, and I kept getting the advertisements for lawyers that work sex abuse cases related to the Church. It’s almost like they’re baiting.

I should hope you did. If there’s two things that PA isn’t short of, it’s Catholic churches and graveyards.

Went to a Ruthenian Byzantine church at that.

Where I live lawyers are also advertising for those abused while in the Boy Scouts.

No mention of Boy Scouts. The lawyers in these ads target victims of Catholic priests. I hate to hear the ads but I listen anyway. It’s the stuff nightmares are made of.

I was a boy scout, no abuse. I feel like I have to say that so people know that doesn’t happen to everyone in scouting.

Just like it didn’t happen to every boy or girl who was Catholic, but that doesn’t mean it did not happen to some.

That’s because the Catholic Church has way more money than the Boy Scouts organization.
