Are there any materials or websites or prayers to help married men overcome the temptation of other women? Can someone help?

Lord Jesus Christ, King of kings, you have power over life and death. You know even things that are uncertain and obscure, and our very thoughts and feelings are not hidden from you. Cleanse me from my secret faults, and I have done wrong and you saw it. You know how weak I am, both in soul and in body. Give me strength, O Lord, in my frailty and sustain me in my sufferings. Grant me a prudent judgement, dear Lord, and let me always be mindful of your blessings. Let me retain until the end your grace that has protected me till now.

I recommend a devotion to St. Joseph, a model of chastity… Though I’m not married, he’s been helpful with me in dealing with those certain temptations of the flesh.
 
It’s really late, so I’ll come back and write more later, but I just had to respond to this one.

I am a married woman who has a problem with temptation by guys. Even if I’m not being tempted directly, my eyes and my imagination are a big problem. Am I alone here? Seems like it’s more of a man’s problem than a woman’s problem in this forum. Or are the women just keeping their mouths shut? 😉 Please help!

Hi Tracy.

I am a guy, but I have read many women talk about this same thing. It’s not onl a guy thing, frmo wwhat I have seen on this forum, but also affects women.
Even though not as many women suffer from this as guys do, they are out there, you are not alone! 🙂
 
Try enrolling your wife in your battle to overcome.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Praying with my wife has been my way out of that temptation.
