“I was arrested on Good Friday for trespassing on the hospice center’s property . . . Not giving Mrs. Shiavo (sic) food or water was wrong. The reason I had to go on your property was because Jesus would do the same thing. It made me sad that she was so thirsty and it made Jesus sad too. I knew she would die without water and I am called by Jesus to be a defender of the defenceless. So I had to go on your property to try to bring her a drink.”

Joshua added, “I am sorry that you didn’t like that and wouldn’t allow me to help save her life and one day you will have to tell God why. I won’t be able to help you then like I tried to help her. I will pray for you every day . . .”

I would suggest everyone read the article and at the end is a link to this sweet childs full letter and it is so beautiful it will make you cry.:crying: I hope it touches the court that way as well.

Wow! This boy and his family are blessed! I can see great things to come for him! 👍

What a beautiful letter from the boy.

The problem is, it is not an apology in the sense that he is not sorry for what he did, so I can see why his father doesn’t know if it will be accepted by the court.

Of course, the “right” course of action is to show remorse for his actions, which he did not. Hard to tell what the court will say about that. The world does not like honesty and truth; it would much rather break this child’s spirit or hear him spew some meaningless babble and put on a Good Act. My guess is this kid is in good hands with his worldly parents, as well as his heavenly ones.
