Hello everyone,
I have just come back from confession, I have to share this with you.
I have been holding back from confessing a serious sin from my youth (30 years ago). But I could not stand the guilt any longer, so I decided that today would be the day. So off I went ,to another parish, that is how ashamed I was!, I prayed for the courage to go in and tell all, after waiting, nearing the end of the time allowed for confession, in I went.
After a pause to pluck up courage I confessed my sin, plus a few others. The priest could not have been kinder !!! he said he was humbled to hear my confession!, he said God has forgiven me, and the burden of that sin and the rest of course was gone.
To say I feel relieved is an understatement, I thank God for guiding me to that priest, so what I am saying is, if you feel as I did that your sin or sins are unforgivable please, go and unburden yourself as I did, you won’t regret it I assure you.
I thank God for loving me.
