Thank You Catholic Church for hosting the Christmas event

One of our nearby parish will be hosting a fairly large Christmas event for the homeless in our immediate area and those of the surrounding cities. I hear it is festive and full of small prizes to win and even monetary prizes for everyone. Over 200 individuals have been invited and will hopefully attend this great gala. Many of our homeless are anxiously waiting for it and since it will be my first time attending it, I’m looking forwards to being there as well. Today I am very proud of this parish. Waiting for a merry time.:extrahappy::dancing::clapping: May the glory of Christ birth remain with us this month and for those to come.
 
Excellent, The Holy Family will have many hearts to find shelter in this Christmas. 👍
 
The Christmas event went extremely well. Close to 200 showed up and were all glad to be there. Out of those 200 only 1 was unfit to attend (since he was drunk and loud). All others were well behaved and cheerful. Tables were set up with many items needed for their needs. Blankets, hygiene items, new socks and bottom wears, gloves, scarfs, Prizes were clothes, warm jackets, sleeping bags (were a big hit) and raffled were gift certificates for meals at many local restaurants. A few won money and checks written out to them. The food was excellent and many got seconds and a few snuck in thirds. Overall a joyful and successful event for all. Thanks again to my parish that hosted it and all surrounding protestant church’s that assisted in it.
