Thank you for your prayers for my Lay Carmelite Community

Last night five members of my Lay Carmelite Community made their Final Profession of Promises and one made her Temporary Promises. I’d asked this CAF prayer community for prayer support and wanted to thank you for those prayers.

The Mass and ceremony went very well, the reception afterwards was quite pleasant.

I was very busy before and after, making sure everything was where it should be - when it should be - how it should be. I tried my best to be pleasant and welcoming to all but after 8:30 PM I was starting to lose patience as I was in pain and quite tired. The reception was over by that time and we were cleaning up, I just started snapping at folks who were helping clean up. I did apologize, a number of times, and I think those involved understood.

Please continue to pray for my little community, that we continue to grow in the virtues of unity and charity towards one another.
