Thank you very much for posting on these Fora.It does take courage to come onto a Catholic Board and question us and defend your beliefs.You have made me stronger in my Faith(I’m NOT being Triumphal or snarky when I say that)
I have gained a great deal of respect for a number of very patient seperated Brethren here.I realise now that not all Non-Catholic Christians are as homogeneous as I had thought and that Protestant does not necessarily equate anti-Catholic.I also realise that your attempt at worshipping God is completely sincere and pleasing to our Lord.If I have offended anyone here and I’m sure I have(and probably will in the future),I do apologise and hope that you will forgive me.

And remember, do not be afraid of speaking of truth, for fear of offending others. If one is offended by the truth, than pray for that one. We are called to speak the truth, but not prove it. Only God can prove the truth. Which is all the more reason to pray!

Sadly some/ many Catholics can’t tolerate people of other faith . They are so hostile to others . I know some friendly Christians in other forum & they are all non-Catholics . Is it just a co-incidence or really Catholics can’t stand different faith , specially they dislike Muslims ??

Have you read the Catholic Church’s official stance on Islam and its adherents? Do the other Christian denominations have similar stances on Islam’s claims? I too know of Muslim friends who do not shove their fistful of ayas down my throat and belittle Christians unlike some who do here. There will always be tares in the wheat, Muslim Woman. Nobody’s perfect except Jesus.

Is it a must for all Catholics to follow/obey what Catholic Church has to say about Islam in written documents ? If their Pope says extremely negative about Islam , then I can’t blame ordinary Catholics to have hostile attitude towards Muslims . Or may be , it’s really a co- incedence that I found non-Catholics more friendly.

i can say most Catholics in this forum have respect for other faith even if at times discussions appear to be heated. what drives most Christians cold towards muslims is the fact that so called muslim moderates (if there are any) appear to condone (even support) muslim terrorists whose only goal is the destruction of the free world. another reason is the open intolerance to other faith by most arab countries, while their own people enjoy free worship in western countries. that’s clearly an injustice. i probably have missed reading your source, but i haven’t seen our Pope say anything extremely negative about muslims.

Sadly…many muslims project the intolerance of islam onto other religions and personalize that projection ie; “Catholics are impolite”. I said islam because islam encourages followers to react violently to believers in other faiths…especially when other faith members are in a minority. This intolerance is manifested towards minorities in countries all over the world…now…as I write. When people react to this…and Catholics are not alone, far from it, some muslims cry foul. I do not hate muslims…muslims are people but I cannot speak fondly of islam. I know enough about it to realize that it it the worst problem in the world today without question. Sudan…Phillipines…Indonesia…Iraq…Iran…UK…Europe…Scandinavia…China .India…Pakistan. Just visit the Global Incident Map for a little eye opener. I am a polite helpful person…I try to be a good ambassador but how can one be honest and ignore these facts…not opinion… facts. The facts are inflammatory, granted but are we supposed to look the other way and have polite, pass the sugar please, conversations without acknowledging that we have a problem here?
Followers of islam flee their own countries…some of those countries are where Christians are being murdered and tortured because of their religion and the muslim immigrants come here to complain that someone is being impolite to them on a blog??? I am sorry there is something very wrong here and I do not think it is me
