Thank you so much Katherine, Minks and everyone else who has prayed for this intention.
Good news.
Last night was terrifying. My chest and throat burned. I coughed and coughed. Finally fell asleep. Wished I had never been born.
Then this morning I woke up. Burning and very painful chest and trachea and throat and glands and between shoulder blades still. I cried and cried telling my Dad and Mom I did not want to die.
Then I told my Dad I had to go to the Doctor and maybe the hospital.
I then went to an Urgent Care doctor from India I had seen a month ago who was very kind to me.
Something inside told me to see him.
I even scheduled another follow up urgent care for later that day if he could not help me.
He actually touched my glands (in this pandemic I was so happy to have a doctor not only be willing to see you over the computer). He agreed that I was sick.
He then gave me this very powerful antibiotic called Cefdinir – formerly Omnicef.
It has very bad reviews online because of its side effects but he decided it was better than a Z-pack because it was for 10 days and not 5.
He also wanted to give me a steroid Prednisone but agreed not to when I told him about my negative reaction.
Anyway, I do feel the very strong side effects. The pain and pressure in my chest is still there yet not as overwhelming.
And so he gave me another 10 days to try to heal.
And so I am going to keep trusting in Jesus that He will heal me.
In the room as I waited for the Doctor I said this prayer of Father Dolindo over and over:
“Oh my Jesus I surrender myself to you. You take care of everything.”
And Psalm 91

I am about to say another rosary for all of your needs and the Chaplet.
I will let you know if I feel any different tomorrow.
