This time yesterday my family’s dauchsund was at the vet’s office for overnight observation. She’d just had surgery to help correct a bladder stone about a week ago. She hadn’t eaten since. I asked St. Francis to ‘speak up’ for her.
Today, after exploratory surgery (with a high likely-hood of her not surviving) they discovered a blockage in her intestines. 10 inches of it was removed, and she’s currently recovering, with a likely-hood of coming home tomorrow).
It’s not solving world hunger, or the return of someone to The Church, but it looks like my dog is going to make it, so Thank you St. Francis!
