I tried long and hard to enroll into the Confraternity of Angelic Warfare but could not initially because my country does not allow money to be sent to charity organizations outside itself. A member here helped send me a membership pack and it arrived on St.Thomas’s feast day itself this year!
The prayers not many gave me the grace to run from sexual sin but to reflect more deeply into my consciousness. For example i could be modest in dressing but immodest in speech. I could be sexually chaste but not chaste in thoughts.
As i was exposed to Protestanism through my friends, i observed them many were abusing the bible to live sexually immoral lives and encouraging me to do so. Through sola scriptura and loving the word of God, they actually sinned. Doubts kept coming into my mind. I am glad the Catholic church and her saints have been my watchtower to seek refuge in.
