well, i know that my thread about being in a struggle with my faith probably caused a few eyebrows to be raised! please know that this is nothing new. i think that the bigger struggle for me is that even though i KNOW that there ARE catholic churches out there that have what I want, i can’t seem to find them…AND DH and i have talked several times about trying to start some sort of ministry, we just don’t know what. it’s so hard to try and get involved in our current parish. We live in a city that most of the Catholic families there are in their 4th and 5th generation of belonging to these parishes. they aren’t open to change. they aren’t open to newbies. we’re really trying. and on top of all that, DD goes to a catholic school in the next town over due to financial issues. maybe we’ll try there. anyway, thanks again-twk.
