Over a month ago I posted a prayer request on her as I was having a very difficult time in finding a new job. Anyone that has read that knows that I was working 2 and 3 jobs to support my family (wife and 3 kids) and I was having no success finding a job.
One day from out of the blue a company that I had applied for over the internet (believe it or not) called me for an interview. One interview and (just over) one week later I received an offer from them and have accepted the position. I will start on the 10th of April.
I wanted to say thank you to those that saw the email and prayed for me and even offered encouragement. It was a difficult road for over 6 months of searching, being frustrated, wondering, praying, being let down, etc. I could not see any light at the end of the tunnel. I wondered so many times what God’s plan was. Boy how we have to be in control. I have heard this quote just recently and thought it was very fitting -
“Work as if everything depended on you, Pray as if everything depended on God.”
Anyhow, thank you to everyone that prayed and I have returned the favor in my daily thanksgivings to God, I offer them for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
