Thanks be to God I finished my 10-day round on IV Antibiotics (every 8 hours). Have a stomach bug now, but hopefully the Good Lord is bringing that to an end. DM is gone back home and our house and children and dirty dishes and clothes are ours again.
Please God, continue to work in and through me and my husband to be there for one another and our children. Help us to work together to make family time and activities a priority and to work on our natural inclination toward laziness. Help us to take care of ourselves and one another so we have the health and energy we need for our young family.
Hasten the day when we will be able to maintain our lifestyle on DH’s income alone and I can quit and stay at home with our young children. Lay it on DH’s heart to come on board with NFPing and finances and hasten his return to the Catholic faith and the sacraments. Help us to navigate our way through postpartum charting. Help us to make wise and prudent decisions with our money, to pay off our medical expenses, make necesary repairs to our home and have some family outings as well.
Help me and DH to make friends - good, holy, edifying friendships. Help us to find the help we need with regards to housework and back-up for childcare. Help us to work together to make our marriage a priority and commit to date nights every month.
Thank You Jesus for always getting our family through the rough patches and for the great sacrifice you made for love of us. Help strengthen us in our faith and help us to know, love and serve you and to teach our children to do the same. Thank you for these forums, bless each person who takes the time to read this and remember our family in their prayers.
