Someone steals something from me. They don’t admit to it, but I know they did it. Do I attempt to get the stolen items back, or simply move on?

God bless with hugs and kisses :heavy_heart_exclamation:

Yea although they don’t mention it outright…they tease me ‘bout it…and I can’t directly confront them cause the items highly intimate, and to do so would mean to admit to them I cared about it or had to use it…

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh 🙀

That’s hard to fathom …given little info so I would suggest forgetting about what ever it is.

I would deny they were mine if this person brought it up ::roll_eyes: , let it all go…

You have the right to try to get the item back. But if the person refuses to return it, you need to decide whether the item is important enough to fight for. If it is, do it. If not, let it go and pray for the person to realize the wrong he or she has caused and drop them like a hot potato.

When I was in college, I discovered a classmate had stolen an area rug from my room. He was lying on it when I found him in his room smoking a cigarette. I went into his room without saying a word, grabbed the rug and dragged it with him still on it to my room. Since that involved two flights of stairs, he learned a hard lesson.

I have to ask,how did he hang on ? 🤔 He’d have to be either laughing or yelling .

For some reason, he kept trying to hold onto his cigarette and ashtray which made it impossible for him to stand up or roll off. He had a look of disbelief on his face. But I lost him on the stairs. That’s when he started yelling.

Later that year, he stole the yearbook money and used it to go across country to a rock concert and to buy marijuana which he brought back and started smoking in his room.

He was later informed by the administration that he would not be recieving his four year degree since degrees at that private college are conferred, not earned. He left quietly.
